If we focus on 'what's strong, not wrong', we're more likely to overcome challenges. My workshop encouraged people to share individual practice; support each other; collaborate; and challenge each other. Isn’t that how we learn best?

One key focus area centred around the importance of building positive professional relationships with all stakeholders. People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care! This 'truth' was further developed by examining the critical leadership quality of emotional intelligence and capitalising on what is unique about each team member and translating it into team performance.

When trust is established, THEN we can focus on a variety of different time/task strategies and choose which best fits our unique style of learning and leading. We also can’t forget to remember the importance of looking for fun and humour in the work that we do, and we certainly had that at the Conference!
